A surge in gardening during lockdown has spurred a social enterprise startup to launch a crowd funding campaign.
The Crop Club, which came through Loughborough’s incubation hub, sold out of its coffee sack growing kits earlier this year after a particularly busy time with people getting green fingers during the pandemic.
To ensure they can get as many people growing food next year, they are opening pre-orders up on Crowdfunder.
The startup aims to reconnect communities through “the joy of growing food, encouraging biodiversity and inspiring healthy happy lifestyles”.
