A Leicester entrepreneur is celebrating after signing a partnership with the UN to promote clean energy tech for sustainable startups in Nigeria.
Bosun Tijani, the founder of the innovation centre Co-Creation Hub in the west African country, struck an agreement with the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO).
The deal will enable Co-Creation Hub to support the transformation of early-stage innovative cleantech solutions into scalable enterprises in Nigeria and strengthen, grow and animate the local cleantech innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem.
“I consider the agreement significant for 2 reasons: 1. Meeting the requirements to act as an executing partner on a UN project is a testament to the work that’s gone into building CcHUB 2. The ecosystem approach proposed for the work gives us the chance to do what we enjoy!”
Bosun is in the process of looking for “stellar individuals” with a good grasp of the cleantech space and an interest in supporting entrepreneurs and stakeholders to join his team.
