A brand new space has opened in Leicester to support creatives on their business journeys.

The Hub on Granby Street was an abandoned building up until earlier this year. Then Stacey Wragg, the founder of Creative Collaborators, took on the former photography studio and went to work renovating it.

Five months later and now there is a fashion studio, green screen/recording facilities and co-working space for freelancers.

Voyager VR – a startup which develops virtual reality content – is also housed in the space.
The Hub opened with an invitation-only launch event this month. Stacey said:
“5 months ago we took the keys on to an 1700 square foot abandoned building on Granby Street. We renovated it by hand, on pennies.

“We wanted to create a space, that has vibes, that creatives can come to and feel at home and supported.

“We want to make people feel like they are a part of something bigger and can achieve bigger.”
