A Leicester startup has published it’s first board game aimed at inspiring critical thinking and expanding children’s imagination.
BRIC (Building Resilience in Children) has launched ‘BRIC IT’, a board game for 8-12 year olds.
Founder Dr Indrani Lahiri, who was a former participant on the Leicester Startups Accelerator and a current participant on the VentureVersity programme, announced that her startup is now taking bookings for free workshops to demonsrate the game at schools and community centres in Leicester and Leicestershire.
A mobile app and other digital versions are also in development.
Dr Lahiri said:
“Guess what, now it’s on the table! Two years of work, thinking and reflecting, our first published board game for children aged 8-12years now out!”
“Some mentioned that this game can be adapted in any settings!
“These are all about preparing young minds for social challenges and opportunities!”
