A Loughborough startup which automises tender applications has secured £200k investment.

BidScript raised the funds through Praetura Ventures and was supported by the British Business Bank and the Northern Powerhouse Investment Fund.

Founders of the startup claim the platform is able to complete tenders within two minutes, just under a hundred times quicker that the manual average time.

On the investment founder Henry Brogan said:

“This is a huge step for BidScript. For the last 14 months, Tyler McCarthy and I have poured in thousands of hours of work into the production of BidScript, taking it from concept through market engagement and validation (which many of you were part of!) and all the way to our latest stages of commercial activity.

“A huge thanks to Praetura Ventures for believing in our vision and believing the value BidScript can bring.”

The money will allow BidScript to scale its commercial activities, expand market reach and accelerator its software development.

Earlier this year the startup was shortlisted for the Prolific North Tech Awards and the Online People’s Vote in the Tata Varsity Pitch 2024.
