This week’s Open Coffee, Wednesday 19th Nov at 10am, will be the inaugural event at De Montfort University Innovation Centre’s new Co-Working space. Come and have a look around the new venue and hear Sarah Cochrane share her experience of the TechStars Accelerator programme.
The Innovation Centre at De Monfort University is a beacon for innovative thinking; sharing, championing and showcasing entrepreneurial creativity from a community encompassing De Montfort University’s students, staff and graduates together with innovative local start-up businesses.
Built around an inspiring, supportive community, the Innovation Centre provides a single point of access to a broad range of specialist contacts and resources that enable enterprising people to develop, launch and grow exciting new ideas into successful commercial ventures.
Next year, The Innovation Centre at De Montfort University will officially launch its new Co-Working cafe space, which has been designed as a fully flexible space in which students, graduates, academics, staff, Innovation Centre tenants and the local start-up community can work side-by-side, free of charge.
Whilst the space won’t be officially finished and opened until 2015, it will be available for use from Wednesday, 19th November between the hours of 9am and 5pm. For more details contact Simon Baines at sbaines@dmu.ac.uk.
