A Leicestershire fintech startup has raised almost a million pounds in investment.
Rearsby based e-Bate is a platform which helps companies to manage rebate and incentive schemes, widely used in construction, pharamceutical, consumer goods and the automotive sectors.
Leanne Bonner-Cooke MBE, who founded e-Bate, secured £950,000 from the MEIF Proof of Concept & Early Stage Fund, which is managed by Mercia.
The funding will allow the firm to create five new jobs and further increase global sales.
This latest funding round is the second investment by MEIF and brings the total raised so far by the company to over £2m.
