Startup founders from an ethnic minority background in Leicestershire are being encouraged to participate in MSDUK’s Innovation Challenge.
The theme for this year’s competition is ‘Better Ideas for a Better World’ and focusses on technologies, products, services or business models in 5 key areas: Energy and Net Zero Carbon, Advanced Digital Solutions, Facilities and Smart Buildings, Social Innovation, Healthcare and Wellbeing.
For successful applicants, the competition includes pitch preparation, judged rounds (where you pitch directly to a panel of global brands, investors and entrepreneurs, receiving valuable feedback).
The final, which takes place at the MSDUK annual Conference, will see the best pitches compete in front of a live audience to win a cash prize of £5,000, business scholarships to the Ivy League’s Tuck School of Business in the US, mentoring with Accenture & Digital Catapult, access to market, and investors, as well as a 2-year free full membership to MSDUK.
