A new “networking with a difference” event for startup entrepreneurs, freelancers and micro-businesses will start in Leicester this June.
‘Netwalking’ will be monthly gatherings to enable people to connect with each other and with the natural environment.
It’s coordinated by Solvers Studio in collaboration with Canal & River Trust, De Montfort University, Jamila’s Legacy CIC, and Celebrate Our Similarities – COS.
The Solvers Studio site says:
“We know that the health and wellbeing of startup entrepreneurs and freelancers as individuals is equally as important as the health of their business. One rarely succeeds without the other. With that in mind, we’ll be coordinating and hosting a series of walks alongside our rivers and canals for startup businesses and freelancers to come along and meet and chat. There’ll also be plenty of opportunity for people to learn about the city’s waterways, the landmarks, and the history of the place we call home.”
