A Market Harborough based startup which enables customers to buy and sell pre-owned clothes has surpassed its funding target.
Thrift+ describes itself as a “managed marketplace for pre-loved fashion” and has raised more £1.5m , smashing its target on Seedrs.
The company’s mission is to “help create a world without fashion waste, through giving as many items as possible a second life”.
To date the business has recirculated 500,000 items of clothing, and raised over £1.6m for charities.
On Linkedin founder Joe Metcalfe said:
