A Loughborough startup has been named one of the winners of the ‘Realising the Remarkable’ programme in partnership with Vista and Enterprise Nation.
Gumbo, which aims to reduce food waste through its “recipe search engine”, will be awarded a £7,500 grant and will receive marketing and design support.
The company is one of 20 to win from more than 6-thousand entries.
Founder Jacob Strauss said:
“I am so proud of the people that work with me on Gumbo (shout out to Dawid Wraga, Sam and Brett Wilkinson) and am grateful for the opportunity to take our business to the next level. Winning this award is a testament to our hard work and dedication, and we can’t wait to make the most of this incredible opportunity.”
Enterprise Nation founder Emma Jones CBE said:
