Samuel Flynn’s startup Hands In is an app which enables users to split payments, such as a restaurant bill, between difference bank cards.
The company which began in 2022 by the University of Leicester graduate received £1 million in the latest round, but also secured just over half a million pounds in pre-Seed funding in 2023.
Flynn said he was “beyond excited” by the news:
“Honestly, I couldn’t be more proud of the team. All of the credit goes to them – I’m just lucky to be here alongside such a talented group of people. We’re all fired up to take this company to new heights and make HandsIn and Split Payments the names everyone knows.”“It’s kind of wild to think about how far we’ve come—from starting in university bedrooms to raising real ££ and building something people believe in. I hope my journey shows anyone out there that anything is possible with a little wit, hard work, determination… and definitely some good luck along the way.”
“Big things ahead for us, stay tuned!”
