The organisers of a new meetup centred around design, research, and innovation in the East Midlands are hoping it becomes a regular quarterly event.

DiNG- short for Design and Innovation Nottingham – held its first event earlier this year, which was organised by Nightingale Design Research.

This month (July) a second meetup is taking place with two speakers; Paul Bailey – Head of Design for SPARCK – “Innovate better, with less”; and Tanvi Vats – User Research Assistant Horizon DER Nottingham University.

Speaking on the success of the inaugural event, CEO of Nightingale Design Research Frances Brown said:

“There was a great buzz in the room, lots of discussion and laughter, and fantastic chat at the pub afterwards too.”

“I hope π——π—Άπ—‘π—š becomes something that people look forward to – an evening that guarantees a bit of learning, plenty of conversation and the opportunity to make some new friends.”

The second DiNG event will be held at Antenna Nottingham on July 18th. You can register here.
