A Leicestershire founder has reached the finals of a startup competition being organised in the West Midlands.
Martin Lewis of Loughborough has got down to the last few entrepreneurs in Reedmace Talent’s ‘pitch battle’.
The competition sees two founders go head to head to make their 4minute pitch in front of a panel of investors.
This past week Martin pitched his startup Membrance against green tech solution Origin21, and won.
Martin said:
“Todays pitch battle was the toughest yet.
“Sabin Nair founder of Origin21 LTD has a great startup and awesome deck. In the end there was only 1 point that separated our pitches.
“A big thank you to Kellie Johnson from Reedmace Talent for taking the time to organise the event and today’s judges that gave feedback”
Martin will pitch at the final in Birmingham in July.
