Leicester Startups CIC is a not-for-profit community interest company run by entrepreneurs for entrepreneurs. Our accelerator programmes, help desks, startup weekends and mentor introductions have helped hundreds of local startups from idea stage through to growth and investment.
It costs us around £50k per year to “keep the lights on”, employing our small part time team and paying the bills. We continue to receive occasional funding rounds towards that from our incredibly supportive partners & sponsors but we want to go further and secure long-term funding for our team.
That’s why were asking you, our successful founders and supporters to “pay it forward” with regular contributions.
• £5000 runs a startup weekend
• £900 puts a single startup through our accelerator
• £500 produces a podcast episode
• £40 runs a weekly help desk session
Aside from the warm glow of giving, supporters will (optionally) receive due recognition on our website, newsletter and social channels. If you’re giving from a company, we can provide formal receipts for your records and would be happy discuss ways of positioning your contributions as a sponsorship.
